  1. First, touch your buttocks while sitting on your knees.
  2. Place your hand on the thighs and palms.
  3. Now While exhaling, slowly bring your chest between your knees and move the hands forward as shown in the image above.
  4. Breathe in slowly and hold the posture for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. After this, inhale slowly and return to the initial position.
  6. Repeat the balasana for 5 to 10 times.

Precautions for Balasana

  1. You can use pillows under your forehead if it is difficult to lay on the floor.
  2. If you are suffering from a knee injury or diarrhea, you should not do this asana.
  3. People suffering from high blood pressure, they should not practice this asana.
